First sign-in and setup

Sign in to your Ledger for the first time, fill in the business profile, logo, signature and numbering, and check one receipt before you go live.

Updated 2026-10-17

  1. Open the Ledger's address from the installer's last screen or the Desktop summary.
  2. Cloudflare shows its sign-in page. Type the owner email and click Send me a code.
  3. Copy the code from the email and paste it. You are in.

Every sign-in works this way. A person whose email is not on the list never reaches the Ledger, Cloudflare stops them first.

Business profile

The first sign-in opens the setup screen. The Ledger creates no document until the required fields hold a value: the business name in English and Hebrew, the tax number and the address. The same form lives in Settings > Business.

Optional fields print on documents when set: tagline, email, phone, website, and on payment requests also bank details and payment links.

Logo and signature

  • Settings > Business > Logo > Upload image. PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG, up to 2 MB.
  • Settings > Signature > Signature image > Upload image. A transparent PNG works best. It prints above the signer line on every issued document.

Numbering, if you used another system before

Settings > Numbering lists one series per document type, each starting at 1. If you issued receipts or invoices in another system this year, set each series to one more than the last number you issued there.

Do this before the first document in that series. The start number locks the moment a document takes a number, and the Ledger refuses any later change.

Payment methods

Settings > Payment methods. Add the ways clients pay you: bank transfer with your account details, Bit, card, a payment link. Payment requests list the ones you tick.

Check before you go live

  1. Issue one receipt to yourself for a small amount.
  2. Open the client copy and the filed copy. Check the header, the tax number, the logo and the signature.
  3. Check with your accountant: the document types you need, the business type, and sending documents digitally.
